The Leeds United Foundation, in partnership with Boston Spa School, are currently recruiting male and female footballers aged 16-17 Year old for their NEW FULL TIME FOOTBALL STUDY PROGRAMME . The course will comprise of both theoretical and practical lessons including coaching from UEFA coaches, with an opportunity to attain a BTEC Level 3 Qualification in Sport (3 A Levels equivalent) and represent The Leeds United Foundation in the colleges league. There are also opportunities to develop coaching and leadership skills via other various qualifications. The programme will also enable student to gain valuable work experience with The Leeds United Foundation structure which will enhance their career prospects.

The Leeds United Foundation Female Football Development Centre.
The Leeds United Foundation, in partnership with Boston Spa School, offers both football training and academic qualifications specifically for females aged between 16-19 years old. At the Female Football Development Centre footballers can combine full-time study with a football training schedule. Each player is given the opportunity to achieve their ambitions both in the classroom and on the pitch.
Many of our past players have gone on to further success at university, scholarships in USA and semi-pro football.
The programme includes:
- Physio Service
- Individual & Team Coaching By UEFA Licence Coaches
- Minimum Of 6 Hours Per Week Contact Football Time
- Competitive Matches in the English College League and cup competitions.
- Specialist Goalkeepers coaching.
- Opportunity to gain FA Coaching, sports leaders and Referee's awards
- Diet & Nutrition Work Shops
- Fitness Testing and Assessment
- Mentoring Scheme within The Leeds United Foundation and the Girls Centre Of Excellence.
- Work Experience With School Partnership & The Leeds United Foundation
- Scholarships in The USA
- Continued Player Pathway
Students have an extensive range of academic and vocational courses available including BTEC National, AS and A2 in over 30 different subjects including sports.
